My Top Three Favorite Cartoons

3)Flapjack
Although the series has ended, it still had managed to impact me enough to end up on this list.  With the art-style being very detailed yet still cartoon-ish had really set a disturbing and eerie atmosphere.  However it still managed to captivate the viewer (children) and make it were it was still for children and not just flat out creepy.
2)Venture Bros.
This cartoon was more targeted towards adults, so it has a lot of mature humor in it.  The Venture Brothers is suppose to be a spin-off of the cartoon Johny Quest, you can see this by the art-style and all the crazy events that occur within the series. This has to be one of my favorites because everything was well executed and still made me laugh every time I watched a rerun.

1)Rick and Morty
For a new show, it definitely exceeds a lot of other shows for its brilliant writing.  Designed to be a spin off of Back to the Future, Rick and Morty really have nothing to do with time travel, it is its own show and it knows it too.  These two opposites travel the universe and different dimensions to give a breaking of the forth wall kind of attitude. Definitely made for adults with its humor and some of the hidden messages each episode.  Overall, this has to be my favorite show because it never takes itself too seriously yet still being serious at times.
